Job Description: 

Skill:- Desktop Engineer-L1 Experience required:- 1+ years Job Location:- Delhi,Haridwar,Jhursgudda,Piparia,Rakholi Job Description:-  Install desktop OS, messaging client, applications, as per Customer’s software deployment policy, and add or remove accessories, peripherals and configure PCs  Maintain inventory of spares at CUSTOMER Locations. Spares to be used or issued on need basis after approval from concerned CUSTOMER IT  Configure desktop and laptop as per the desktop/laptop standardization policies of CUSTOMER  Configuration of printers, data card, scanners, digital signatures etc.  Configuration of internet settings and proxy settings  Configuration of mail clients and troubleshooting mail client related issues  Troubleshoot and resolve desktop / laptop OS issues  Isolate system issues; diagnose standard software issues and report hardware issues to respective vendors  Troubleshooting printer / scanner related issues at users’ desktop/laptop and reporting hardware issues to vendors  Configure print queues for Servers / Users / Groups  Configure appropriate rights and permissions for accessing printers Configure the desktops using tools as defined in Schedule ASolution Baselines  Manage disk and folder sharing, and permission settings on desktops  Keep track of IT inventory with the help of onsite team or the Customer team deployed at Customer premises  Maintain information like, serial number, asset code( Make and Model), warranty and AMC status, Location etc ( Details to be shared by client along with baseline during transition)  Updating IMAC changes, into asset register .  Manage and Maintain delivery Challans, gate pass etc., related to movement of Assets  Assist in inventory forecasting.  Provide the Hardware inventory & Asset Data to CUSTOMER SPOC from the asset management tool provided by customer  Inventory scanning using tools shall be pertaining to intelligent devices only. For non-intelligent devices like printers, scanners etc, it shall be done manually  Provide update to CUSTOMER team on asset moving to end of AMC using the CUSTOMER tool. (AMC details will be configured by the customer in the tool provided by CUSTOMER and handed over during transition Phase)  Coordinate for material movement as per requirement, maintain separate asset list for refresh, pool assets & other BAU requirements.  Provide Monthly Asset register report directly available from customer provided tool  ID creation /modification and Deletion as per CUSTOMER’s Defined Process  User ID creation in Active Directory (Create, modify and delete user groups, users and user properties)
