Job Description SN Required Information Details 1 Role Granite Inventory – L2 Support 2 Required Skill Set Telecom, Granite Inventory Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have 1. Prior experience in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) project for Ericsson Telcordia Granite Inventory. 2. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in O&M projects 3. Knowledge on application outages, SLA, KPI, TAT etc. 4. Prior technical and functional experience in Granite. 5. Sound knowledge of telecom network technology (SIP, NGN, Microwave, IP/MPLS, SDH/PDH.) and Service Design/Planning. 6. Prior experience in successful transition of Granite. 7. Excellent communication skills 8. Excellent customer interaction skills 9. Strong programming/configuration experience in Granite 10. Should have excellent programming skill in Java /J2EE 11. Should have system administration and user management knowledge wrt Granite 12. Ready to work in shift including Weekend/Holidays. 13. Knowledge of Fiber and Copper access Network Rollout. 14. Hands on experience of installing, integrating and configuring the Ericsson Granite Inventory product and module such as Network Designer, Unified Inventory Engine and Ericsson Discovery and Reconciliation. Good-to-Have 1. Have worked on one Implementation of complete Granite solution 2. Programming skill on XML and UNIX Scripting 3. Experience and knowledge of Inventory data capture and methodology 4. Should know telecom network management standards like eTOM, TNM, TAM, FCAPS 5. Very good knowledge of Wireless and broadband networks. 6. Very good knowledge of OSS Domain SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Production technical support 2 Participate in deployments of system applications for both test and production environments 3 Should be able to carry out impact analysis based on provided requirements 4 Suggest alternate workarounds incase the actual resolution time is longer 5 Create reusable assets/ automation scripts to improve the application performance and process improvements. 6 Coordination with Product Vendor in resolving the issues 7 Should be able to troubleshoot issues and deliver quick solutions / fixes 8 Should carry out Incident, Problem Management and Change Management
